This year, to avoid the usual New Year's Eve conundrum, we decided to escape to our favourite hide-away in Instow, Devon.  What we like about Instow is is beautiful location and the short walk to a handful of lovely pubs and restaurants.  If you play your cards right, you can park up and now drive again all week!

On this trip we did venture out to Hartland Quay, which really should be visit if your are near by.  Its a bit scarey driving down the hill, but the views are breath-taking and well worth the test of your driving skills.

Unfortunately, Mollys paw had to be operated on several weeks early due to a walking accident, which meant that our usual long walks were out of the question.

We did however make it onto the beach several times and over to Appledore.  I hop eyou enjoy the photos...
