Mark and I visited Cornwall this week with Molly the dog. We stayed in a very small, yet perfectly formed fisherman’s cottage in (literally) Sennen Bay near Lands End. For those reading this recently, you will appreciate that the weather in this area of the world has not been wonderful - gale force winds are not recommended when you're staying on a sand dune!
Our cottage was wedged in a sand dune half way down to the beach only accessible by foot path. My favorite part of the Cornwall experience is the long coastal path walks. On one such walk we managed to lose Molly once and watch her disappear over the cliff tops chasing the sea gulls.
Well worth a visit is Cape Cornwall, a beautiful cape and cliff top walk. In the rough weather we were having the sea formed a beautiful mist which floated in over the rocks - great for photos!
Lands’ End was a short (yet grueling) walk from the cottage. The lighthouse was barely visible from land as the waves crashed against it, yet on calmer days it is clearly visible.
I hope you enjoy the photos... speak again soon...
