Back from an amazing trip to Antigua with my new husband Mark, only back for a few hours before jetting off to the south of France!
First installment of photos on their way to the site now! We travelled all over Antigua (quite easy to do with only 108km2 to cover!) and as usual my camera was never too far away...
The wildlife was the most tropical that I've ever seen - from tarantulas and snakes to humming birds and pelicans, Antigua had a lot to offer.
I wished I had taken a waterproof camera, as the underwater world was equally as colourful and exotic! The fish especially were the most beautiful colours - I'll definitely be snorkeling again soon!
The volcanic landscape offered heavily saturated hues that always contrasted beautifully with the turquoise of the Caribbean Sea. The idyllic beaches entice you take a million photos and I fell for their charms. You certainly didn’t need too much artistic talent to snap a great photo on their coastline.
The Antiguan people were on the whole very friendly. There were certainly a lot of strong personalities!
In the last few days we were visited by hurricane Erica which was interesting to say the least! However it did mean that I was able to snap some great rough seas...
We had an amazing time... right, off to pack again!
