This weekend saw the Titchfield Art Show take over the Titchfield community centre. The preview evening was a sell-out success and the whole weekend saw steady footfall despite beautiful weather which we were worried might stop people from coming inside!

Working up to the Titchfield Art Show I've been looking at the best and most cost effective place to get my mounting and framing done.
I stumbled across the Frameworks Mounts shop in Lee on the Solent and had such a good experience that I thought I should share it on my blog...

I couldnt resist playing with some of the settings on my new camera with some beautiful tulips from the Titchfield flower stall.
The detail that my new camera is able to capture is amazing. Although not a macro lense, it still manages to capture the veins on the pettles really well - imagine what it can do with the right lens - this could become very enxpensive!

Today was our new nephew's first visit to the seaside. We ventured down to the pushchair-friendly part of Hill Head just before sun down.
We managed to pick the most amazing sunset for months, and I was fortunate enough to have my camera with me.

Feel like a child! Haven't seen snow like this in south coast hampshire for a very long time, probably not since i was small enough to be hip-deep in it.
Molly-dog's paw is nearly mended now, so we took the opportunity of new snow to get her outside after weeks stuck in the house! Talk about a coiled spring! We had a lovely walk around snowy Titchfield.

This year, to avoid the usual New Year's Eve conundrum, we decided to escape to our favourite hide-away in Instow, Devon. What we like about Instow is is beautiful location and the short walk to a handful of lovely pubs and restaurants. If you play your cards right, you can park up and now drive again all week!
On this trip we did venture out to Hartland Quay, which really should be visit if your are near by. Its a bit scarey driving down the hill, but the views are breath-taking and well worth the test of your driving skills.

Mark and I visited Cornwall this week with Molly the dog. We stayed in a very small, yet perfectly formed fisherman’s cottage in (literally) Sennen Bay near Lands End. For those reading this recently, you will appreciate that the weather in this area of the world has not been wonderful - gale force winds are not recommended when you're staying on a sand dune!

We are just back from our stay in the fabulous Principality of Monaco. If you ever get a chance to visit Monaco you should definitely take it - the amount of wealth on show could never cease to amaze. From small boats costing about the same as a large house in central London, to cars worth as much as our home in Hampshire, Monaco does not fail to gob smack.
From a photography point of view, the Principality is a wonderful mix of Italian style and French rustic charm, lending itself to both architectural and landscape photography. You also cannot fail to miss the small details that are characteristic of the culture.

Back from an amazing trip to Antigua with my new husband Mark, only back for a few hours before jetting off to the south of France!
First installment of photos on their way to the site now! We travelled all over Antigua (quite easy to do with only 108km2 to cover!) and as usual my camera was never too far away...
