ABOUT ME
I am fortunate enough to live by the sea in Hampshire, which is about as far south as you can go in the UK without getting wet. I grew up in Portsmouth and briefly moved to Southampton to go to University. I was then fortunate enough to go straight into a marketing job from University which kick-started my career.
I had my first website in 2001 selling freelance website design services and my interest in the area grew from there.
Meanwhile, I continued my career in marketing working in both the private and public sector. My first 'proper' job was in marketing for a local motor group, in which I was involved predominately in Event Management, although I soon took on other roles, including PR, Advertising and Graphic Design.
My time in the public sector was for local council in the education department. Here my web experience grew as I managed several existing websites and launched a couple too. During this time I also started to extend my freelance web design activities, and my sideline business grew and grew through customer referrals.
One of my freelance jobs eventually became my full time job, and allowed me to focus entirely on website design and development.
In 2009 I merged my business with aap3, a company I had been working with on a freelance basis for some time. I am now working as the Marketing Manager and Creative Services Manager at aap3.
In August 2009 I married Mark Percival in our village of Titchfield. Happy days!
